TODAY, 3rd SUNDAY OF EASTER: The mystery of man becomes clear only in the mystery of the Incarnation, in the word INCARNATE.  The Son of God was united with every person through the Incarnation.  Jesus worked with human hands, He rationalized with a human mind, He made decisions with a human will, He loved with a human heart.  His human nature was uplifted very highly and with dignity.  Jesus, the Innocent Lamb, earned life for us by freely pouring out His Blood.  God reconciled us with Himself - - - He was among us and saved us from slavery of the devil and sin.  By suffering for us He gave us an example to walk in His footsteps, and He revealed the path we are to walk on.  While traveling that road, life and death are sanctified and get a new meaning.  Only in Christ (a new man), through His Easter mystery do we understand the meaning of life of every Christian.  Easter Law is the same everywhere.  Jesus speaks about life, which comes forth from death.  Through Him every “death” becomes a source of new life.  This is true for the death we accept with love and trust in God.  Suffering is not some kind of chance in history of salvation.  Suffering belongs to every history that will be God’s history in the world.  And if Christianity wants to christen the modern history - - - it can do it only through the Easter Law, through which comes life and glory after death and suffering..  Only if we are uplifted with Christ will we be able to draw others to ourselves.  (John 12, 32).

DANAS: 3. NEDJELJA PO USKRSU: «Misterij čovjeka postaje doista jasan jedino u misteriju utjelovljene Riječi . . . (Iv 12, 32).

ALTAR SOCIETY DONATION: We are pleased to announce that the Altar Society donation to the General Fund of our parish is $3000.00.  This great profit was due to the fact that so many volunteers helped with the baking and preparation ahead of time, and with volunteers working many hours on the day of the sale, April 5th.  We also thank everyone who donated either money or baked goodies, and those who bought the baked goods, sausage, barbecued hamburgers, macaroni salad, and who bought raffle tickets and split club tickets.  God bless you all.
