TODAY: 17th Sunday of Ordinary Time: “He Sold All That He Had” …  God especially loves those who don’t push and shove in line, which don’t have to occupy the best places in buses, trains and planes.  God especially loves those who don’t always have to have the latest fashions in apparel, the newest thing in appliances.  God especially loves those who can sleep serenely even though they may have suffered a loss or defeat, even though they may have failed in a job or endeavor, even though they are unable to manage an urgent matter for themselves.  God especially loves them - they especially love God!

DANAS: 17. Takve Bog napose voli - - - i oni Boga iznad svega.

GOSPEL REFLECTION: The man in today’s gospel “sold all he had” for the treasure he found.

Family relationships are “treasures” and demand our total personal investment.

Invest yourself in the “treasure” of your family.
