TODAY, 33rd  SUNDAY OF ORDINARY TIME: The end of the liturgical year symbolically designates the end of time and the final events; after which a new world and new times follow.  Perhaps this is the reason why the parable on talents is read in today's liturgy.  The Lord has given His «talents» as He wished.  They symbolize our duties, vocations, responsibilities for virtues and love.  But not all receive the same.  It is clear that we have some responsibilities becasue of these gifts.  God will ask us what we did with these talents.  What is important is our good will in doing good and putting an effort to do our best with those gifts - - - a good management is required - - - we are to use them well.  Each of us will give an account at the end with regards to our faithful cooperation with the given gifts of mind and heart - - - an eternal reward.  «Come, share your Master's joy.»  Those who lived for God and glorified Him in life will receive the reward of eternal life from God.  We have to be vigilant and cooperate with our given talents: first of all by Baptism which started our life with God. Just as a small kernel grows into a huge tree, the Kingdom of God has to grow in us...the Kingdom of grace and truth. We know what happened to the person who buried his talent: he was thrown into the place where grinding of teeth and crying  takes place.

DANAS: 33. NEDJELJA KROZ GODINU: Konac crkvene godine simbolički označuje svršetak vremena i konačne događaje, iza kojih slijedi novi svijet i nmova vremena. U nama i u Crkvi mora rasti i napredovati kraljestvo Božje, kraljestvo milosti i istine.
