TODAY: ALL SOULS DAY: We remember all our deceased beloved ones today.  For each of us death is a horrible question, and nobody is indifferent.  From the material point of view death is the final and hardest blow one can experience in his or her lifetime.  Death is the greatest enemy of man's happiness on earth; the greatest tyrrany that no one has ever defeated.   «It is appointed that men die once, and after death be judged.»  (Heb. 9,27). We, as Christians, must look at death in the light of the life and teaching of Jesus Christ.  Death was also a certain ending to His life.  It was the moment when evil fell upon Him and achieved the culmination in killing the Just One.  It was the moment when Jesus felt as if even His Heavenly Father abandoned Him.  «My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?»  But at the same time His death meant the beginning of a new life.  This is why His last words were: «Father, into Your hands I commend my spirit.»  Every death is a fatal ending.  Nobody is different in front of the coffin of a dear person whose heart stopped beating.  But death is for us the greatest irretrievable loss.  Maybe it means a sunset of happiness over our life's horizon.  It would not be human if we would not feel sad to see that death is taking our loved one from our midst.  But our faith teaches us that by death a new life begins...eternal life in the Kingdom of our Heavenly Father.  A light of resurrection appears above the darkness over our graves...the light of our faith in seeing again all those who preceded us in death.

(Heb 9,27). «Bože moj, Bože moj, zašto si me ostavio?»  No u isto je vrijeme upravo njegova smrt značila početak novoga života.  Odatle i njegov epilog života na zemlji:  «Oce, u tvoje ruke predajem duh svoj!» (Lk 23,46).  Gledaju naravnim očima svaka smrt u našoj sredini označuje jedan bolni i kobni svršetak. No u isto vrijeme mi smo i krščani.

MESSAGE FROM MEDJUGORJE OCTOBER 25TH

«Dear children!  In a special way I call you all to pray for my intentions so that through your prayers, you may stop Satan's plan over this world, which is further from God every day, and which puts itself in the place of God and is destroying everything that is beautiful and good in the souls of each of you.  Therefore, little children, arm yourselves with prayer and fasting so that you may be conscious of how much God loves you and may carry out God's will.  Thank you for having responded to my call.» BVM.

PORUKA, 25.  LISTOPADA 2008

«Draga djeco! Zato djecice, naoružajte se molitvom i postom kako be bili svjesni koliko vas Bog ljubi i vršite Božju volju.  Hvala vam što se odazvali mome pozivu.» BVM.
