TODAY: Easter is the center pole of the liturgical year – a feast above all other feasts.  On that day a unique God’s newness took place in the history of mankind.  Christ, crucified for us under Pontius Pilate, suffered, died and was buried and on the third ay He rose from the dead.  His Easter event touches every person, all mankind, all creation as well.  We all died in Adam and were all made alive in Christ.  This is why Easter faith is repeated at the end of our Creed: “We look for the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come.  Amen.”  A Christian is a man of great Easter hope.  That’s why we celebrate Christ’s and our feast days.  Yes, the Christian is a mortal man, but Christ is the one who will rise from the dead.  Death is not the final word of man’s history.

Amen.”  Kr{}anin je ~ovjek velike, uskrsne nade.  Stoga slavi Uskrs kao Kristov i svoj vlastiti blagdan. Kr{}anin je ~ovjek, dakle smrtnik.  No taj je ~ovjek kr{}anin, to jest – uskrsnik.  Smrt nije posljednja rije~ ~ovjekove povijesti.
