TODAY, SECOND SUNDAY OF EASTER: The unbelieving Thomas is a representative of those who say that they believe only what they can prove with certainty.  Very few of them realize how few things in life can be proven.  Yes, we have to have some certainty in everything we believe.  Otherwise we wouldn’t be able to live.  It is normal that we doubt so many things before we achieve some measure of certainty.  And faith is needed in life.  It is normal to doubt our faith from time to time.  The Church is competent in questions of faith.  To “prove” Jesus’ resurrection can be done only if her members would be the people of resurrection --- if they would be of the same mind concerning the truth, constant in prayer, filled with the healing power of love.  In that way the modern Thomases would easily accept Christ as their Lord and God.

DANAS, 2. Stoga }e kr{}anska zajednica danas najdjelotvornijedokazatiKristovo uskrsnu}e ako njezini ~lanovi buduljudi uskrsnu}a”, jednodu{ni u istini, postojani u molitvi, ispunjeni ozdravljuju}om snagom ljubai (usp. 1. ~itanje).  Tada }e suvremeni Tome lak{e priznati Krista Gospodinom i Bogom.
